Carnell Win Area 3 Awards

Carnell are considered to be the Safest and Leanest supply chain partner in terms of culture and performance in Highways Agency (HA) Area 3.

EnterpriseMouchel (EM), the Managing Agent Contractor, held their Supply Chain Community Annual Awards Dinner on the 14th October and Carnell were the biggest winners of the evening, collecting 2 of the 5 awards.

Managing Director, Aidan Clarke, was on hand to receive the Safety Award from EM's Steve Flint, and Guy Beresford of the HA. This accolade was given to recognise Carnell's current safety record, having a Zero AFR for the past 15 months which supports the HA's strategy of ‘Aiming for Zero'.

Meanwhile, Performance Manager, Sally Tyson, was presented with the Performance Award by Guy Beresford and Chair of the Supply Chain Community Performance Group, Matt Morphet. This was for Sally's outstanding contribution to the group which saw her work closely with the other members to develop KPI's and encourage Continual Improvement.

EM General Manager, James Haluch, remarked: "Carnell are an integral part of the Area 3 supply chain and have demonstrated both a considerable reduction in the costs of maintenance, and significant improvements in roadworker safety."
