‘Higher-Visibility' LED Jackets

Following a suggestion during a monthly Innovations Forum, Carnell have joined forces with LEDwear to introduce ‘Higher Visibility' LED Jackets to the workforce - an industry first.

Whilst task lighting gives good illumination at the point of work during night-time operations, our site personnel often find themselves away from the floodlit area.  To increase operatives' vision of their surroundings and to afford enhanced conspicuity, Carnell have collaborated with Staffordshire based manufacturer LEDwear to develop a weatherproof coat that have embodied in them the latest LED technology, as well as the standard reflective materials.  White lights at the front give good visibility of the immediate area, allowing the operative to see hidden trip hazards without the need to carry torches.  Red LEDs on the back of the coat give oncoming motorists and site works traffic advanced warning of operatives' presence.

Carnell have always placed a premium on the safety of our worksites and lighting is a major challenge during our night-time operations.  The Higher-Visibility LED Jackets improve the working conditions for our employees in these challenging circumstances.
