Highways Agency Commends Carnell's World Class Performance

The Highways Agency has recognised Carnell's commitment to improving value through their Supplier Recognition Scheme.  The awards ceremony held recently was an opportunity for the HA to acknowledge the efforts of suppliers who demonstrate world-class performance and deliver excellent customer service.

Carnell were Highly Commended in the Managing Down Cost category, the only Tier 2 Supplier to receive such an accolade.  Presenting the award to Darren Nelson and Liz Bell was HA Chief Executive, Graham Dalton who commented "We're proud to acknowledge the dedication and innovation of our supply family."

The five awards which attracted over 80 entrants in what is its first year were:

• Managing down cost
• Supply chain management
• Health & safety
• Building & sustaining capability
• Delivering sustainable value. 

Upon receiving the certificate Darren Nelson said: "We have demonstrated how we have delivered smarter and more efficient ways of working and I am proud to collect this award on behalf of the whole team.  We hope to be back next year."
