Another Gold Award for Carnell

Carnell have again won Gold, at the prestigious RoSPA Occupational Health and Safety Awards 2011.  Achieving this accolade demonstrates how high standards have been maintained, in a scheme which judges the H&S management system, leadership strength and workforce involvement, as well as accident record.

Carnell Director of Health & Safety David Rhodes received the award during a ceremony on 18 May from RoSPA Trustee Ian Walker who said: "Carnell has shown that it is committed to striving for continuous improvement and we are delighted to honour it through the presentation of an award."

Darren Nelson, Chief Executive of Carnell went on to say: "In the past 12 months we have received accreditation to BS OHSAS 18001 standard and maintained a Zero AFR.  Retaining the RoSPA Gold Award gives us recognition of the systems in place to protect our workforce and the resulting safety performance.  This is due in no small part to the adoption of a safety-first approach by the whole team".
