Job Purpose

As a Business Analyst, you will be supporting development, innovation, and digital transformation with the business. This role is key supporting our core business process.

 

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Business Analysis

  • Lead workshops with business stakeholders to confirm user requirements.
  • Document Business Processes, communicates business requirements to the team/wider business.
  • Responsibility for creating user stories, functional specifications, responsible for backlog and assisting in work prioritisation.
  • Oversee daily stand-ups, backlog review and sprint planning.
  • Identify and recommend feature enhancements based on analysis and understanding of business processes knowledge, experience, and technical skills.

 

Qualifications and Experience

  • 3 years + relevant business experience and/or a degree, professional qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience in Business Process Mapping
  • Knowledge of ERP systems
  • Experience in the public, infrastructure, construction, utilities, or financial sectors.
  • Strong skills across the Microsoft Power Platform with excellent Excel skills required.
  • BCS Practitioner Certificate in Business Analysis desirable

 

Other

  • ERP System Support (Evision – Microsoft Dynamics Business Central)
  • Providing technical & operational support & guidance to other team members.
  • Experience of data migrations and good understanding of core finance and business process

Experience

Good experience of working on ERP focussed business design

Experience in Business Process Mapping and requirements

Experience in the public, infrastructure, construction, utilities, or financial sectors.

Exposure to ITIL

Agile knowledge and practicing

Education and/or qualifications

3 years + relevant business experience and/or a degree, professional qualification or equivalent.

 

Desirable:

BCS Practitioner Certificate in Business Analysis
