The AQS will be assisting Quantity Surveyors in preparing payment applications, subcontract order and invoice review and approvals.
In addition to this the AQS post holder will be supporting QSs in preparing quotations for compensation events and maintaining the commercial, contract management and change management records wherever the requirement be across Highways England Area 7 (East Midlands) and Areas 6 & 8 (East Region).
Moreover, the AQS will help in collecting information required for substantiating any queries received from the client with regards payment application items or change event claims. Apart for the above, the AQS will be engaged in all commercial and contract management tasks required for smooth running of day to day business.

The role can be carried out from home, although ocassional visits to Carnell offices and sites in the east and east midlands will be required.
