Emily Finegan has been recognised as this year’s Individual Wellbeing Champion at the SDF Northwest Community Health, Safety, and Wellbeing Awards in Manchester. The award highlights her commitment to promoting wellbeing, supporting colleagues, and helping to create a workplace culture where people feel valued, encouraged, and able to thrive.
Emily said: “I’m absolutely thrilled with the award and so grateful to be given the opportunity. Hoping to continue the good work!”
The awards ceremony also featured a powerful contribution from #ANDYSMANCLUB, who spoke about the importance of peer‑to‑peer support and open conversations around mental health. Their message, that it’s ok to talk, resonated strongly and reinforced the value of creating spaces where people feel able to share what they’re going through.
We extend our congratulations not only to Emily but also to all the winners and shortlisted nominees. Each has played a part in strengthening health, safety, and wellbeing across the region, and their efforts continue to make a meaningful difference in their communities and workplaces.
