Site Manager (Scotland)

We’re seeking a Site Manager to oversee daily operations on highways projects across Scotland, ensuring safe, high‑quality, on‑programme delivery. You’ll manage supervisors and teams delivering drainage surveys, trenchless works, FDR, and civils activities, while supporting business growth. Working days or nights, you’ll collaborate with clients, assist Contract Managers, and occasionally support projects in the North of England.

Location:  Scotland

 

Senior Quantity Surveyor

The role involves mentoring and providing guidance to intermediate and assistant quantity surveyors while fostering strong, collaborative relationships with key clients. It requires maintaining rigorous commercial control across all areas of the business and working closely with the operational team to achieve project and framework financial objectives.

Location: Scotland or Leyland Preston

 

Design Manager

We’re looking for a skilled Design Manager to lead and coordinate design activities within our Engineering Solutions team. You’ll connect designers, technical specialists, construction teams, and consultants to ensure high‑quality, safe, and commercially aligned outputs. You’ll also help grow our design capability, support SPaTS3 Framework delivery, and unlock new revenue opportunities across the business.

Location: Featherstone, Penkridge or Leyland

Highways Engineer

You’ll be ensuring works are delivered safely, to the highest quality, and in line with National Highways standards. From producing permits and managing RAMs to supporting site teams and occasional setting out, you’ll play a vital part in keeping our projects on track and our roads moving.

Location:  Penkridge, Staffordshire

Project Manager (Permanent)

You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members.

We’re now looking for a dedicated HR & Recruitment Advisor to join our friendly HR team and play a key role in supporting our people, strengthening our culture and driving high-quality recruitment across the business.

Apprentice GPS Site Operative (1 position available)

This apprenticeship involves being part of the Carnell Water Management Division. You will be utilising bespoke software to capture drainage asset data using GPS handheld equipment.

Recruitment Policy
