Purchase Ledger Assistant

Job Purpose

Assist and support the Finance function by dealing with all invoice queries and general administration.

 

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Responsibilities – but not limited too

  • Accurate input of purchase invoices
  • Statement reconciliations
  • Dealing with invoice queries, including requesting copy invoices, credit notes and delivery notes from suppliers.
  • Importing invoices onto the accounting system
  • Monitoring the accounts inbox
  • General administrative duties
  • Accurately inputting purchase invoices
  • Inputting data and information into Excel
  • Emailing invoices onto our accounting system via Continia.
  • General administration for the team as and when needed.
  • Assisting with Accounts Inbox
  • Hotel Bookings

 

Experience/Qualifications

  • 2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Experience dealing with subcontractors/CIS Scheme would be advantageous.
  • Excellent organisation skills
  • Familiar with accounting software
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft office packages
  • Experience working with an end to end 3-way match AP process (PO-GRN-Matching)
