Carnell Support Inaugural Highways Industry Careers Day As Part Of Midlands Collaborative Community

Today, the Midlands Collaborative Community hosted an informative careers day at the Newcastle Stafford Colleges Group (NSCG). The event featured a presentation highlighting the careers available in highways and educational opportunities at NSCG, which was well-received by students from local schools and college students.

Followed by an exhibition that included a variety of interactive activities, virtual reality experiences, and products used in the highways industry. In the outdoor area, students engaged in practical learning with plant, robot obstacle course demonstrations and road marking simulations.

This initiative, part of a series coordinated by National Highways and the MCC supply chain community, is all about opening doors to the highways industry.

Thanks also to Lizzie Kerfoot, Luke Wilcox, Cyril McMullan, Lotus Stapley and Mark Stapley who helped inspire the next generation of highways heroes, whilst representing Carnell.
