provision of fencing around ‘Critical Network Infrastructure’
We completed our first CNI scheme for National Highways near to the M6 J3 Longford Road.
This involved the provision of fencing around ‘Critical Network Infrastructure’ to combat issues with theft and anti-social behaviour that had previously occurred under the elevated section of motorway.
The works were comprised of palisade fencing, constructed around the space underneath the viaduct, adjacent to Longford Road.
We replaced the existing wooden fence as well as replacing the fence connected to the neighbouring children’s home, protecting the assets in place.
In total our team erected 200m of palisade fence and 45m of close-boarded fence, and additionally, all vegetation in the area was cleared for further enhanced safety measures.
