We have released the second edition of our Carbon Management and Reduction Plan.

The purpose of the plan is to highlight our documented strategy and actions that are being taken to help us reduce our carbon footprint and minimise the impact on the environment. The short-term Carbon Reduction Plan sets targets for the next three years, while the Roadmap shows our long-term plan to meet our net-zero commitment by 2040. The document also details our past performance according to the Green House Gas protocol and emissions relating to the three scopes.

Earlier this year, Carnell demonstrated our continued commitment to reducing carbon in infrastructure by gaining PAS 2080 certification with the British Standards Institute (BSI). With more than 30% of UK greenhouse gas emissions being attributed to the construction, operation, and maintenance of infrastructure assets, PAS 2080 certification recognises businesses that have come together to deliver low-carbon infrastructure projects to manage and reduce their environmental impacts.
